What to know before your session

  • Your session at NØDE is designed to support both how you feel and how you look. Treatments combine lymphatic drainage, myofascial techniques, and therapeutic massage to improve circulation, reduce tension, and encourage natural detoxification.

Most clients experience a session that feels deeply relaxing yet intentional. Techniques may include gentle rhythmic lymphatic work, fascia release, and targeted massage to support mobility and sculpting.

Each session is customized to your body’s needs that day and your preference for pressure.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to change in and out of.

During your treatment you will be professionally draped and only the area being worked on will be exposed. Many lymphatic sessions are performed with minimal oil and lighter techniques, but you may still want to wear clothing that is easy to change back into afterward.

  • To get the most out of your treatment:

    • Drink water earlier in the day
    • Avoid heavy meals immediately before your appointment
    • Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in
    • It is recommended to avoid alcohol the day of your session

Hydration helps the lymphatic system move fluid more efficiently during treatment.

  • After your treatment:

    • Drink plenty of water
    • Light movement (like walking) can support lymphatic flow
    • Avoid alcohol or very heavy meals for the rest of the day if possible
    • Give your body time to integrate the work

Some clients notice increased urination, improved mobility, or a lighter feeling in the body after lymphatic work.

  • Many clients notice immediate changes, such as reduced puffiness, improved mobility, or a lighter feeling in the body.

However, lymphatic and myofascial work often creates cumulative results, meaning consistent sessions typically produce the most noticeable long-term changes.

  • No. Lymphatic drainage uses very gentle, rhythmic techniques designed to encourage fluid movement through the lymphatic system.

Myofascial work may include deeper pressure in certain areas, but sessions are always adjusted to your comfort level.

  • Lymphatic work can support people who experience:

    • Puffiness or fluid retention
    • Chronic tension, pain or inflammation
    • Slow recovery after travel or stress
    • Post-surgical swelling (when cleared by your surgeon)
    • Those wanting to support detoxification and circulation
    • Clients looking to enhance sculpting and facial contour

  • It depends on your goals.

Some clients come monthly for maintenance, while others schedule a series of treatments when working toward specific goals such as recovery, sculpting, or working through a chronic issue.

Typically after the first session I recommend coming back in a month or so to keep everything moving. After the second appointment, we can create a personalized treatment plan for future appointments.
